Mesothelioma and its treatment effects

Unlike other cancers mesothelioma cancers responds very badly to the treatments like surgery and chemotherapy. The researchers have done several analysis on the cancer especially in the lung site as it is most common region for mesothelioma cancer, still a complete and perfect solution have not yet discovered for the mesothelioma cancer. Moreover the existing treatment’s success rate also depends on various dimensions that augment victim’s health, patients’ choice of treatments and the most significant factor is that the stage of the growth of the tumor cells in the body and the level of mutation it has performed in the region. Apart from all these factors there are certain discrepancies involved such as, if a surgery is performed to remove the cancer cells it should done in a highly efficient manner because leaving any single cell behind the region will develop the cancer cells again and moreover the level of criticality increases to a greater extent leading to the death of the patient.

It is explained in the previous section that the most common types or form of mesothelioma cancer is affected in chest or lungs and this particular instrument is specifically used to diagnose the chest part to detect the odd functionalities inside the chest. It is an endoscopy for the examination of chest.  It consists of a tube which is being inserted into the body. Using the lens in the instrument the inner organs of the body can viewed in the screen and can be studied for cancer. The instrument is also used to take a sample tissue to study under the microscope. As obvious the instrument is being used in the human body under general anaesthesia or sedation with a local anaesthesia. It is the process of identifying the tumors in the body and detecting the stage of the cancer and healing or treating the cancer. Generally based on the symptoms the treatments are being followed but it is difficult to diagnose the cancer at the initial stage and hence physician might give treatment for some other disease. Similarly mesothelioma cancer also cannot be detected at the early growth stage of the cancer cells but in most case it is identified with the symptom of sudden breathlessness due to the accumulation of the fluid in the layers. Scans and other screening tests are being carried out to detect the cancer cells in the human body and to be more specific series of diagnosis and in-depth investigation should be carried out in the human body.
